Curiosity brought me here. Careful work keeps me here.
I didn’t take a straight route into compliance. I studied human anatomy, where a conclusion has to be grounded in evidence. When I moved into trade work, I found that the same habit mattered: one missing document, unclear instruction or unchecked assumption could change a decision.
That interest grew into governance and policy work. I learned to look beyond whether a document exists and ask whether it is accurate, who is responsible for acting on it and what happens if a concern is missed. Working with different stakeholders also taught me to explain a complex issue in terms each person can use.
My UK law conversion has added a legal lens to that experience. At BPP’s Legal Advice Clinic, I bring research, listening and clear writing together for people dealing with real problems. I’m drawn to roles where I can keep learning, ask thoughtful questions and make processes more reliable for the people who depend on them.

Drafted and reviewed policy and governance materials, including proposals considered for submission to government ministries, while accounting for constitutional requirements and sector concerns.

Managed a sole divorce matter as an adviser and prepared a written advice letter explaining the client’s position, the relevant process and practical next steps.
